2026 Grand Prize Mystery Challenge

Someone in Cardagain Heights is kidnapped! Clues abound within the character story-cards.  Read them carefully for possible motives and opportunities. Become the ultimate sleuth and help Detective Willy Orwontee solve the mystery. If you are the one to provide the most complete answers to the detective’s questions, you might become the Grand Prize winner.  This year’s Grand Prize will be $250 in Cash! and a one-of-a-kind, original, artist-signed cartoon of the winner; a prize valued at $900, which includes packaging, shipping and insurance. Check back often for possible additional clues added to the website in case any new characters should happen to wander into Cardagain Heights.

Here are the main questions that Detective Willy Orwontee will be asking:

1. Who was kidnapped?  

2. What was the victim’s address?

3. What could possible motives be?

4. Who committed the crime? 

5. Was the crime committed by one person or a conspiracy? 

6. Does Sherlock know anything? 

7. What did Telle Truth’s drone capture?

8. Does DNA evidence factor into the crime?

All entrees will be reviewed and must be submitted to our website BEFORE December 1, 2026.  The Grand Prize winner will be announced on the website by year’s end.  In the event that there is more than one entry that answers all the questions correctly, one winner will be randomly selected.  The winner will need to provide their address and a picture of themselves for the artist to render their original cartoon.
