Infant - Greeting Card

This old photo was all that was left at the orphanage years ago by the parents who gave up their child for adoption. Today it rests in a freshly polished sterling silver frame on the dresser of reclusive heiress Penelope Pickers' bedroom. The simple picture with its mysterious origins is Penelope's most valuable possession. While Penelope lives a solitary life ensconced in gilded trappings of every sort, she is nevertheless haunted by the  prospect of never knowing who her real parents were, if she might have had a brother or sister, and why she was abandoned for adoption when she was a mere infant. While bedecked in jewels of every kind, Penelope sits amid sterling candlesticks and even solid gold dinner chargers at her dining table and ponders the simplest beginnings. Looking in the gilded mirrors that surround her grand table she says aloud to herself, “Who am I?”

The front of this card features a cartoon print of the infant. The center space is blank for writing your own personal description, and the back of the card features the infant's story and how they are involved with the town of Cardagain Heights. Envelope included.
