Lady Noteworthy - Greeting Card
Lady Noteworthy - Greeting Card
Meet Lady Noteworthy:
With her perfectly coiffed grey curls and a bold purple eyeshadow that defied convention, the matronly, though single Lady Noteworthy called out to her butler, “Dryly!” It was that time of day, the “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere” time of day. More subtly, Lady Noteworthy used the euphemism, “Tuesday evening special, please!” to signal she was ready to toast the day with a fresh martini; complete with its inclusion of the lady’s favorite exotic green olives and extra olives at that. The clinking sound of ice against her glass was music to her ears. As Lady Noteworthy took her first sip, a confident smile played on her lips; some called it the grey-haired blues, she called it "Martini Time". She held her glass high and toasted her younger sister, Princess Rubicon, who had come to join her. Lady Noteworthy was so proud of her beautiful younger sister who had married the late Prince Hugo of Luxvaria. Born of humble beginnings, Lady Noteworthy thinks back to the simple days of her early youth before her parents struck oil on their farm, days of poverty that Princess Rubicon never knew. After toasting the Princess, Lady Noteworthy asks her sister, “How is Joey doing?” At the end of their happy hour, Princess Rubicon adds, “You know, that boy gets everything.”
