Partridge in a Hair Tree - Holiday Greeting Card
Partridge in a Hair Tree - Holiday Greeting Card
Nothing quite tops the annual unveiling of the “Partridge in a Hair Tree” ensemble. Held each December in the civic plaza in front of the Cardagain Heights City Hall, the hair tree crowning is a ritual that signals the official start of the annual Hair Tree Festival. Each year, a socially philanthropic matron is crowned with the hair tree. The annually recreated Partridge in a Hair Tree was designed by movie and film hair stylist, Angel Clipperidge, of the nearby Wiggy Brothers Studios. The centerpiece of this festive spectacle is a towering, evergreen-tinted coiffure adorned with shimmering ornaments, golden garlands, and a literal golden birdcage nestled within the branches. While socialite Abigail Givings balances the weight of the entire Twelve Days of Christmas on her head, her equally eccentric stylist—Angel Clipperidge, waves to the crowd with her sterling silver sheers. Former honorary Queens of the Hair Tree Festival include: Lady Noteworthy, Blondie Blinkly, Japonica Fanning, and I. Dee Clair.
The front of this card features the cartoon print of Abigail Givings with Angel Clipperidge giving her the Partridge in a Hair Tree hairdo. The center space is blank for writing your own personal description, and the back of the card features the details of the yearly tradition and how Abigail and Angel's story is involved with the town of Cardagain Heights. Envelope included.
Printed on heavy weight matte paper; each card measures 4.25" x 5.5" as folded. Every card is carefully packaged to ensure a safe arrival. Please note: Colors may vary slightly from screen due to monitor settings.
