Meet the Cardagain Heights Card Club. As they gather for their weekly showdown, tonight, the stakes are unusually high. The mayor’s trophy wife, Blondie Blinkly, holds a hand she is certain will lead to victory, while her mustachioed mayor husband Mel, the honorable Mayor Blinkly, ponders what to do. Across the table, the gentleman in the green bow tie, Clarence Cardagain, keeps his hand held close to his chest showing no emotion with his placid poker face. Clarence’s longtime girlfriend, Pearl Peepers, sporting an elegant brown bun, places a card down with a flourish, and to the amazement of the others, one card, the Queen of Hearts, suddenly trumps everything.
